Special Acknowledgements

The 3D Center is not the dream of one person alone. It is the result of many people believing in the need for a special place dedicated to 3D imagery. People from all over the United States and from abroad have made the 3D Center possible and continue to help it grow. Some have donated items, some have contributed their art, some have donated time and labor, others have provided financial support by becoming Friends of the Center or by making donations. In recent years we have begun to get some small grants. It is the combination of this energy and determination on the part of so many that has made the Center a reality. While it is impossible to thank everyone, we must acknowledge some!

Friends of the Center

Friends of the Center support activities and provide the much needed finances to advertise, launch exhibits, stock the gift shop, mail and distribute literature about the Center, pay the lease and utilities for the Center, and assure that the Center can employ a part-time director. The Center has Friends all over the United States. Our thanks to those who believe in the dream and are willing to support it.

In July 2007, at the NSA/ISU convention in Boise, Idaho, Diane Rulien was awarded a life-time Friends membership in grateful appreciation for her foresight and dedication to the establishment of the 3D Center. Rulien served as the Founding Director of the 3D Center from 2003 until June 2007. Without her devotion and enthusiasm, there would not be a 3D Center and 3D imagery would not have a permanent home.

Volunteers During 2009

With only one part-time employee, the Center relies on volunteers who will staff shifts during the Center's open hours or when special groups visit the Center. These volunteers give a most valuable commodity - their time. It would not be possible to keep the Center open and thriving without the many hours donated. Thank you.
